The City of Chicago (City), acting through the Department of Planning and Development (DPD), is committed to providing accurate information to the citizens of Chicago concerning the City’s real estate inventory based on the City’s City Owned Land System (COLS) database. However, the City does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information set forth in the COLS database, including, without limitation, the tax parcel identification number, ownership, ward, street address, zip code and lot dimension information set forth therein, or whether a given parcel is currently being held or reserved for a contemplated City project. In addition, the City updates the COLS database on almost a daily basis, so any information is subject to change, and the City reserves the right to change any information without prior notice. The City also reserves the right to hold and release properties for contemplated City projects as the City, in its sole discretion, deems necessary or appropriate.
