Open Bids

DDC’s construction contracts are handled through an open competitive bid process, as well as pre-qualified lists (PQL). Listed below are currently advertised projects with bid opening dates within the next few weeks.

You do not need to be pre-qualified to bid on the below projects, unless its description includes PQL. For those projects, only bidders who are listed on a specific pre-qualified list may submit bids. The process provides additional contract opportunities.

Due to COVID-19, DDC has now implemented new bid submission and bid opening procedures.

Please read the following carefully and be sure to check specific addenda for each project for submission information.

  • There will be separate bid submission and bid opening date for each project, which will be specified in the bid documents or subsequent addenda for each specific project.
  • Bid submissions will be accepted by “hand delivery only” during the times specified in the bid documents or subsequent addenda.
  • Bid openings will now occur 3-5 days after bid submission date.
  • Bid openings will be conducted via “Virtual Bids Online”. This new online bidding forum will allow contractors to view/stream bid openings via ZOOM.

Due to COVID-19, bid documents are currently available for download only. Please do not visit in person to purchase bid documents, as DDC's bid office is currently closed.

Moving forward and until further notice, the above will be the agency’s new bidding procedures.

Addenda will be made available for each project specifying the dates for submission and opening. Please refer to these addenda for further detailed information on specific projects.
