The County has many opportunities for bidding and purchasing of land, cars, equipment or personal property. Auctions are held throughout the year.
Real Property, Chief Executive Office
Surplus real estate owned by the County worth no more than $500,000 is sold at auction.
Real Property, Probate (County)
Real property from estates administered by the County are offered at auction about once a month, normally the third Saturday and Sunday, at the location of the site being sold.
Real Property, Public Works
The Public Works Department provides descriptions and photos of surplus property it auctions.
Real Property, Treasurer and Tax Collector
Properties that are tax defaulted for five years or more become subject to public auction. The public auctions are held twice a year, in August and October.
Personal Property, Probate
Personal property from estates administered by the County are sold at auction about 10 times a year, normally on the second Saturday on the month, at a warehouse in the City of Industry.
