Lands Potentially For Disposal, U.S. Department of the Interior
As directed in the 2018 re-authorization of theFederal Land Transaction Facilitation Act(FLTFA; Title III of P.L. 115-141), the BLM has developed a list of lands potentially available for exchange, sale, or conveyance under theRecreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act. Transactions involving these lands are intended to increase recreational access to public lands, support economic development, create efficiencies in ownership and help conserve special places.
These lands are identified in BLM resource management plans(RMPs) as presented by State in the list below.
Before the BLM takes any disposal action, we complete appropriate reviews and clearances in accordance with theNational Environmental Policy Act, along with cadastral surveys and appraisals to determine fair market value.
